About us
Sustainable Change for Development (SCD) is a Palestinian non-profit NGO founded in 2019 by social activists dedicated to promoting democratization, development, and peace in the State of Palestine. SCD’s interventions foster mutual understanding and collaboration, aiming to build a productive, healthy foundation for an effective state.
SCD’s mission centers on reinforcing democratic values, supporting state-building initiatives, engaging in environmental action, empowering youth and women, and cultivating a culture of peace. The organization acts as a catalyst for non-violent communication within Palestinian society and among stakeholders. Additionally, SCD supports grassroots movements in achieving their social and political goals, ultimately striving to reduce violence in the Palestinian refugee camps.

Building a clean and sustainable environment where citizens can adopt sustainable practices to meet their needs without jeopardizing the future generation from meeting their needs of natural resources.
Empowering Palestinians for Peaceful Living
Enhancing the capacity of the Palestinians, especially women and youth, in conflict resolution and peacebuilding towards a quality living standard.
Palestinians' Rights Awareness for Empowerment
Raising Palestinians awareness of their civil, political, social, economic, and environmental rights.
Mission
Our mission is to empower individuals and communities through Advocacy, Capacity Building, and Psychosocial Support. We promote sustainable resource management and environmental justice, strengthen political and social participation among Palestinian youth, and enhance social justice. We are dedicated to ensuring equal opportunities for all, providing the necessary support for emotional and mental well-being, and enabling every person to thrive and contribute to a progressive and just society.
